Skin Colour: Dark tan coloured like Bosc, but with more complete russeting
Flesh: Yellowish-white. Smooth. Dense. Crunchy.
Flavour: Rich. Slightly acidic
Usage: Excellent dessert pear. Good for cooking
Storage: Up to 4 months in cold storage
Notes: A large slow-growing tree that is quite hardy. Like Bosc it is very productive but can be susceptible to fire blight in warmer climates.
