Skin Colour: Very dark red
Flesh: Black. One of the softer varieties.
Flavour: Sweet. Has some tartness to it.
Usage: Excellent for fresh eating, and pastries
Storage: 10 days refrigerated. Several months when properly frozen.
Notes: Not suited to regions with warm winters. Also intolerant of frost, deep freezes, and intense heat. Fruit attains colour before maturity, though it does display some resistance to rain-splitting.
