Skin Colour:      Orange-brown with russeting
Flesh:      Off-white. Coarse texture. Juicy.
Flavour:      Mild. Sweet.
Usage:      Good for fresh eating, salads, and cooking
Storage:      Sweetens with storage - up to six months
Notes:      A fairly large, productive, tree that bears large fruit of excellent quality.

Somewhat susceptible to fire blight and should be sprayed against coddling moth. Spider mites can also be a problem that is best controlled with frequent watering and an application of mite spray before harvesting the fruit.

As with all Asian pears, the fruit needs to be handled gently and packed carefully into padded boxes.
