Growth type:      Semi-dwarf rootstock
Natural height:       ~ 25'...(7.5m)
Field spacing:      ~ 14' - 18' apart...(4.25 - 5.5m)
Soil suitability:      Grows well in dry, light, soil
Strengths:      Drought tolerant and cold hardy. Resistant to fire blight, woolly aphid, and collar rot. More vigorous than MM 106A and does not require staking. 
Weaknesses:      Susceptible to mildew and burr knot. Prone to suckering.
Misc. notes:      Union should be no more than 1"-2" (2.5-5cm) above the final soil line. Virus free. Good for spurtype varieties. Begins to fruit in 6th or 7th year.
