Flesh:      Cream coloured. Explosively crisp with a coarse texture.
Flavour:      Sweet. Mildly aromatic. Sub-acid.
Usage:      Excellent fresh eating. Good for desserts.
Storage:      Six months in cold storage
Notes:      Annual bearer. Fruit does not usually drop. Very resistant to apple scab. Some susceptibility to fire blight. Susceptible to powdery mildew, fly speck, and soot.
