Field spacing:      ~ 8' - 12' apart...(2.5 - 3.5m)
Soil suitability:      Good for sandy soils
Strengths:      Resistant to fire blight and tolerant of collar rot
Weaknesses:      Prone to suckering and tree support is recommended, particularly for varieties like Liberty and Gala
Misc. notes:      Similar to MM111a for vigour, and close to EM 9a and EM 26 for productivity....... This rootstock is subject to royalty fees.
