Very cold hardy - recovers well from Winter damage
and can be used as an interstem in colder regions. Crop
production in 2-3 years and plants on this rootstock tend to fruit early.
Good resistance to collar rot. Somewhat resistant to powdery mildew, and apple
scab, and is tolerant of common latent viruses. Produces few burr knots or
suckers.
